This paper introduces the surfactant-assisted ball milling which was used to prepare the rare earth permanent magnet nanomaterial. We prepared the nanoparticles、permanent nanoflakes and nanostructured bulks. The rare earth permanent magnet nanomaterial played an important role in different application areas.
